Golf: The Girls team is 3-0 & the Boys team is 2-1

Football: The Varsity home opener on Friday was a hard-fought contest against defending state champ Arundel High School. RHHS 28 - Arundel HS 49. JV showed spirit in its opening game on Saturday against Arundel JV, but lost 14 - 32.

Field Hockey: The Varsity field hockey team had a tournament Friday evening. They lost to south River 5-1 but defeated Bel Air 3-1. They have a home game this week against Long Reach on Monday, away game Tuesday with Severna Park and an away game against Marriotts Ridge on Thursday. 

Boys Soccer: Varsity Tournament: They lost v. Bowie 0-3; 2^nd game was cancelled due to storms.

Girls Soccer: Varsity Tournament: Tied Arundel 2-2; won v. Dulaney 7-0.

Cross Country held the 3^rd annual Top of the Hill Invitational at River Hill this past Saturday (9/6).

• The girls varsity team placed 6^th out of 16 teams.

• Alyssa Mattes won the girls varsity race in 18:35.

• The boys varsity team placed 9^th out of 24 teams.

• Noah Levy placed 20th in a time of 16:59.

What a night! Chick-fil-A Kickin For Chicken was a success Friday night! Huge thank you to Chick-fil-A Clarksville for supporting our program, donating 400 CFA chicken sandwiches, and being on site to celebrate ALL our Hawks!

September 8^th – 12^th – Order from Chick-fil-A Clarksville all day and use code RHHS25 or tell your order taker you are supporting River Hill.  This is a Rival Week competition with Glenelg High School.  The winning school will receive a cash prize at the River Hill vs. Glenelg football game on September 12^th.  Proceeds benefit River Hill High School Boosters.

September 9^th – Order from Chipotle in Maple Lawn from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM using code WHAPNV and help raise funds for River Hill High School Dance.

September 13^th – Join us at Ledo Pizza in Clarksville from 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM for a pancake breakfast served by the River Hill High School Cheerleaders!  Sausage or bacon and drinks are included.  To Go orders are also an option.
