Course Description:

This rigorous, college level course will introduce students to the diverse, complex and dynamic story of humankind from its earliest cultural development to its present form.  The course combines teaching of factual knowledge with instruction as to the habits of mind of people who study history. These habits include the critical analysis, evaluation and synthesis of historical artifacts. With this preparation, students are expected to register for and complete the Advanced Placement World History exam on Thursday, May 17, 2012 (details will be given at school).
