A great website - covers everything on the test in easy to understand format. This link originates from a teacher, Ethel Wood's website at a high school in Princeton, NJ. This is the woman who wrote the practice tests that you have been taking. http://phs.prs.k12.nj.us/~ewood/amergov/USGov5th/contents.htm Glossary of Government Terms: http://www.twyman-whitney.com/apgovpol/glossary_of_political_terms.pdf Go to this website to take practice quizzes on Supreme Court cases: http://www.twyman-whitney.com/apgovpol/ Yet another Supreme Court quiz: http://regentsprep.org/Regents/core/questions/question.cfm?Course=USHG&TopicCode=2c&QNum=1&Wrong=0 Click here to see a copy of the Civil Rights cases it is recommended that you know
APEX UPDATE: For all of the rest of the APEX assignments, students need to be enrolled in "Exam Review". Go to "enroll in a course" at the upper right on the homepage. Click on "Select AP Review Subject" - select "AP U.S. Government and Politics Exam Review." Use the following code to enroll: R737027. After you have registered, follow the assignments listed on the original APEX handout you were given (start with Topic 6, end with Topic 1). The first thing you should do is take the "sample exam and tips". After you have completed this, go on to Topic 6 and take the Diagnostic Test. When you have completed the Diagnostic Test, print out the results, as you will turn this in to me for credit. As it states on your handout, This is YOUR study plan; YOU must take ownership and actively engage in the materials in order to best ensure YOUR success. GOOD LUCK!!! |
