In easily the best game played by the Hawks they controlled every aspect of the game, goaltending, ground balls, offense and defense.

Will Melton was outstanding in goal, Charls Whitaker, Jason Fawcett & Duncan Brooks played with confidence & were very much in control of a good Liberty attack.

The first two midfield groups of Brooks Brumsted, Jon Clark, & Abe Dyer and Jay Morgan, Brian Maggio, & Steve Shipe complemented the defense well and were all effective in clearing the ball to the attack.

The attack trio of Scott Kenworthy, Justin Clark & Brian Fabel combined for 14 goals & 7 assists. Scott Kenworthy had 5 goals & 5 assists, Justin Clark 7 goals & 2 assists, Brian Fabel 2 goals. Abe Dyer had 1 goal & 2 assists, Brooks Brumsted 1 goal, & Charles Whitaker, Jason Fawcett & Steve Shipe 1 assist each.
