The Hawks got the first win over Westminster in a well played game.
The River Hill Defense controlled the Westminster offense, the attack
played well enough to stake out an 8 - 3 lead before Westminster was able
to make the game score more respectable by scoring the last three goals on
the River Hill reserves.
As opposed to their opening game loss to Arundel the Hawks were all over ground balls, cleared well & controlled the game. |

Will Melton played well in the goal & the trio of Charles Whitaker, Jason Fawcett &
Duncan Brooks controlled the Westminster attack.
The River Hill middies outplayed their counterparts & the attack scored enough to win. Scott Kenworthy led the scoring with 4 goals & 3 assists, and the Clark brothers Justin & Jon chipped in with 2 goals each. Abe Dyer & Brooks Brumsted also contributed with 1 assist each. |
