Mt. Hebron overwhelmed the Hawks 14-3. There was little to cheer about.
The Hawks played well for the 1st 10 minutes, but after missing their 1st six
shots & then having Mt. Hebron score on 4 of their first 7 shots it only
was a matter of time.
The Mt. Hebron midfielders dominated their River Hill counterparts and when the attack did get the ball they were only able to score 3 times. The defense saw a number of fast break scores which they were unable to stop & the Hebron attack was able to cut through the Hawk midfield defense. Mt. Hebron was a better team with significantly more and better athletes. The Hawks need to play better & with significantly more intensity if they are to continue to improve. The loss leaves the Hawks in second place in the county and 9-2 overall. |
