The Hawks with 10 players either scoring goals or assists easily disposed of
Howard 17-2 to improve their record to 8-1. /Scott Kenworthy (5 goals, 5 assists)
led the onslaught. Abe Dyer (3 goals), Jon Clark (2 goals, 2 assists), Justin
Clark (2 goals, 1 assist), Brooks Brumsted (1 goal), Dominic Fisher (1 goal),
Jay Morgan (1 goal), Steve Shipe (1 goal), Brian Maggio (1 goal, 1 assist),
and Will Horstman (1 assist) all contributed.
The defense of Duncan Brooks, Jason Fawcett, and Charles Whitaker with Will Melton in goal held Howard without a goal into the second half and generally dominated their attack. An unfortunate side line to the game was a season-ending shoulder injury to Kyle Glover. His presence will be missed. |
