On the offensive side, high scorer was Ryan Decker with 3 goals in the third quarter on a total of 4 shots-on-goal, with one assist by Jeff Borkov who had 6 shots on goal. Jimmy McGrann had 2 goals on 4 shots, and Conrad Heinz weighed in with 2 goals on 3 shots. Also shooting were Jesse Southworth with 2 shots-on-goal, and Alec Summer, Tim (#22) and Dan Floyd each taking a shot at the goal.

River Hill’s defense did its part as well. Goalie Peter Zanger had 9 saves in the first half and let in 4 goals. Goalie Daniel Meechen took over in the second half and had 14 saves, letting in 7 goals. Fernando Slade, Rich Kelly, and David Walters played an outstanding defensive game, only allowing 4 goals in the first three quarters of play.

In all, River Hill JV Boys played a great game and are looking forward to facing off at an away game with Howard this Thursday.
