Against a big physical team they had beaten 10-6 at
home last year the 6 & 1 Hawks took an early 3-0 lead
midway throught the first quarter only to see Oakland
Mills tie the score at 3 to end the 1st quarter.

| Oakland Mills went on to take a 4-5 lead at the half. The Hawks regrouped at half and played extremely well to earn a 12-8 solid victory. |

The 1st midfield of Brooks Brumsted, Jon Clark and
Abe Dyer were all over ground balls and the second
midfield of Brian Maggio, Jay Morgan, and Steve Shipe
played well.

|
Scott Kenworthy with one goal & 9 assists (which ties his River Hill record for number of assists in a game) paced the offense. Abe Dyer and Brian Fabel each with 4 goals played major roles. Jon Clark (1 goal, 1 assist), Brooks Brumsted ( 1 goal, 1 assist), and Steve Shipe (1 goal) also scored. |

The defense of Duncan brooks, Jason Fawcett, and Charles Whitaker with Will Melton in goal played well. |
