Current Activities
We've been working on a bunch of projects in the last month or so, but we haven't had many advisories because of midterms and whatnot. Here's what we're up to and some things to keep in mind that will be coming up soon:
- Matchmaker-- We ordered and received the forms, and most have already been distributed to English teachers. We will be getting the completed forms back over the course of next week and we may need some individuals to help prepare them to be shipped back to the company. Further details will be announced in advisory on Wednesday.
- T-Shirt-- Kevin Lance and Colleen Collins have selected a design for our class T-shirt. A sketch of what the t-shirt looks like is being made. We will need to make forms so that Juniors can order and pay for the t-shirt before we order them because the payment must be made when we place the order.
- Advertising for the RH Mixer-- New posters are being made and will be put up soon. Gene Zhu is in charge of advertising so please contact him if you are on the advertising committee or if you would like to help out with the advertising for this event.
- Decorations and Food for the Dance- Committee heads, make sure you are staying on top of this. We have a month left until the dance. If you are a member of one of these committees, be sure to contact your committee head and stay involved with preparations.
- Prom-- We selected the colors blue and silver for the invitations and balloons, however, silver is more expensive so an alternate was chosen. We will be organizing after school meetings with smaller groups of individuals to make further decision about prom preparations.
- April Activity-- Don't forget that we signed up to host a school activity in the month of April (like the Seniors are hosting Battle of the Classes). Suggestions for the activity included shadowland laser tag, roller skating, and port discovery. If we want to book one of these locations, we will need to make arrangements soon, as these facilities likely fill up their schedules quickly
