Boosters

The River Hill Booster Association welcomes you and your student(s)!

RHHS Boosters, Inc. is a non-profit organization that promotes and supports all extracurricular activities at River Hill High School.  We celebrate our students’ effort and achievement in activities outside the classroom through school spirit, parental and community involvement.  Extracurricular activities are vital to student growth, not just to college applications.  Activities outside the classroom allow students to determine what they are passionate about; to triumph over adversity under pressure; and to demonstrate that positive change can be achieved together.

Through Boosters, parents and community members raise supplemental finances to continue the now 21-year tradition of excellence at RHHS.  Last year Boosters contributed over $17,000 directly to athletic programs, coaches’ development and tournament fees; and over $20,000 for school-wide for improvements, academic requests, school spirit, homecoming, and scholarships.  Additionally, Boosters also provides services to the community like the Summer Sports Camps, Sat Prep, Driver’s Education, and Sports Physicals Night in April.

While money is important, our most crucial mission is to promoting school spirit and participation in all student activities - including those in which your student participates.

This year Boosters wants you to be an MVP!  Be a Boosters Member.  Be a Volunteer.  Participate in the activities of your student(s) and their classmates.

Don’t forget your Hawk Card, Birthday Hawk rental and Hawk Walk brick purchase!

Volunteering is effortless! Select one of the opportunities listed on the membership form, plenty of ways for you and your friends to be involved like Spirit Wear and Concession sales. Help run one of our signature events listed below!  Or sign up for a committee – something fun like Spirit or serious like Audit.

PARTICIPATE! Join your fellow parents at the athletic/club events of the week or a Booster event.
We are revamping the calendar so that you know what the most important extra-curricular events are school wide.  While you are deciding on how you are going to be an MVP, we are making sure that our scoreboard works this year’s inevitable playoff run and collecting community sponsors for our capital fundraising goals including a new auditorium sound system and cushions for the auditorium seats!

Boosters meet the 3rd Wednesday of every month in the Information Center.
