Boys Baseball

On April 15, River Hill lost a 7-6 game to Mt. Hebron. The Vikings scored 3 in the first, 1 on the fourth, and 2 in the fifth. In the Hawks' half of the first, Dan Konapelsky reached first on an error and advanced on a single by Brian Heinz. Justin Bilohlavek loaded them up with a walk and Konapelsky scored when Wes McCoy was hit by a pitch.

In the fifth inning, River Hill struck for 5 more runs. Jeff Marquart had a lead off single, Trapuzzano doubled, Konapelsky singled, Heinz was hit by a pitch, and Bednarczyk singled to lead this big inning. Unfortunately, Mt. Hebron pushed across one more run in the eighth inning to edge the Hawks. Dan Konapelsky went 4 for 5 in this game. Mike Anton pitched 5 strong innings and Kevin Marrie 2 1/3 in this hard loss.
